In some traditions, Anemone sprang from tears bitterly wept over love lost. In others she was a nymph, banished on a jealous whim and transformed into a fragile flower. Anemone’s reign is short—her petals bloom fleetingly and fall quickly upon opening. The meaning of this flower is forsaken and “a dying hope.” Maybe you’ll wear this in the wake of a breakup, as a meditation on impermanence, or as a reminder to be present in the fragile beauty of each moment.
